They Are on Our Streets Every Day': Texas Chick-Fil-A Takes a Very Public Stance That 'Police Lives Matter'
November 09, 2015
One Chick-fil-A restaurant in Texas is taking a clear stand in support of local law enforcement with a T-shirt bearing dual meanings.
Recent photos show patrons and employees at a Chick-Fil-A in The Woodlands, Texas, wearing T-shirts with the phrases "Go Blue or Go Home" and "Back the Blue" printed on them.

Chick-Fil-A restaurant manager Eli Advincula told TheBlaze the T-shirts had two meanings: To show support for their local high school football team, whose colors are blue and green, and to support law enforcement officers.

Advincula said that the restaurant wanted to "show our support for police" because "they are out on our streets every day." He added that his Chick-Fil-A location wanted to support the law enforcement community because of all that has been happening recently.
The response from the community to the Texas Chick-Fil-A's T-shirts has been very positive:

Thank you for supporting law enforcement! I love the shirts. Chick-fil-a is one of the only places I feel comfortable eating at when I'm on duty. Awesome company with awesome values!Posted by Chris Proctor on Saturday, October 10, 2015
