Out on Bail, Teenage ‘Dr. Love’ Who Posed as Doctor Storms Out in Middle of 'Good Morning America' Interview

"I don't appreciate your tone. I don't appreciate the way you're portraying this interview to actually be."

Malachi Love-Robinson, a Florida teenager who has been posing as a medical doctor, delivered a disastrous interview Wednesday on ABC's "Good Morning America" following his Tuesday arrest in which he dodged questions concerning his qualifications and abruptly left during the middle of the interview.

Love-Robinson, 18, has been going by the name "Dr. Love" since he recently opened the New Birth New Life Medical Center & Urgent Care in West Palm Beach, Florida, according to the New York Daily News. The teen now faces seven charges — including grand theft and fraud for operating a medical practice without a license — as the self-described "president, CEO and founder" of the center.

When questioned, the teenager told the morning show that he does hold a Ph.D. "in what, I don't feel comfortable disclosing because that is not the issue here."

The teen, whose office door displayed his name as "Malachi Love-Robinson, M.D., Ph.D., HHP-C" and other acronyms, with the M.D. covered up by a piece of tape, claimed that "there are many types of degrees out there that hold the title as doctor, whether they are a physicist or an engineer,” according to the interview. “Just because someone has the title doctor in front of their name does not necessarily imply M.D.," although he added that the sign on the door was "due to be changed."

Love-Robinson was arrested after the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office narcotics unit and Florida Department of Health sent in an undercover female officer to pose as a patient during a physical examination conducted by the teenager, according to CNN.

"I'm hurt because of the accusations and allegations, but like I said, this is not the first time where I've been accused and I will pursue this, and when I do, you guys will know," Love-Robinson said, according to CNN.

But Love-Robinson's Wednesday interview became even more tense after the reporter continued to question him concerning his exact qualifications. The teen insisted he had “shadowed many doctors” — and had done  “a lot of things” that he didn’t care to elaborate.

“I have been studying this particular field for a while,” Love-Robinson said. "May not have been eight years, nine years, 10 years, but it has been long enough to, I would say, justify what I do," adding, "I don't appreciate your tone. I don't appreciate the way you're portraying this interview to actually be."

Finally fed-up with answering and dodging questions, Love-Robinson eventually removed his microphone and walked out of the interview, saying, "I don't know where you're receiving this information from, but it's inaccurate. I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to cut this interview short."

Love-Robinson claims that when everything is over, he plans to open up another clinic.
