In January, Sasse ignited a Twitter controversy by directing a series of questions to Trump.
Trump fired back on Twitter.
Sasse replied:
As evidenced by the video, some Trump supporters didn’t take kindly to Sasse’s line of questioning.
One user asked if "anyone can believe this bozo is a U.S. senator."
"My brother says this every week," Sasse joked.
