Watch the Mistake That Has This 'Wheel of Fortune' Contestant Joking That He Should 'Buy a World Map' With His Winnings

"My wife has gotten a lot of mileage out of this."

A "Wheel of Fortune" contestant made a geography error on Wednesday's show that had him joking that he should “buy a world map” with his winnings.

David and Keri Dailey had just solved a puzzle to reveal that they were the winners of a “gondola ride through Venice.”

“Let’s check your geography knowledge: What country do you think we’re sending you to?” host Pat Sajak asked.

“Paris,” David replied.

“France?” he attempted after hearing laughter at his first guess.

“Do we still get it?” Keri asked Sajak.

Sajak briefly lost his composure before replying, “Apparently you know your husband well.”

The couple will, of course, be taking a gondola ride through Venice, Italy.

“I do know that Venice is in Italy, NOT PARIS, but I guess the only excuse I have is that I was nervous and not thinking straight,” Dailey later wrote on Facebook. "My wife has gotten a lot of mileage out of this. Oh well, it was entertaining watching me drown on national television without a life preserver. Maybe I should still buy a world map with some of our winnings. Ha ha!!!”

This about sums it up....What a fantastic experience it was for Keri and I to appear on the Wheel of Fortune!!! Thanks...
