Allah Ordered Me': Nanny Who Allegedly Beheaded Child, Carried Head in Streets Appears in Court

The investigation revealed that she had “instigators” who encouraged her to kill the girl.

The nanny who allegedly beheaded a 4-year-old child in Moscow over the weekend and then paced the streets carrying the child's head while shouting “Allahu Akbar” appeared in court Wednesday.

As TheBlaze previously reported, Gyulchehra Bobokulova, the 38-year-old nanny from Uzbekistan, has cooperated with police. After the unthinkable incident, Bobokulova reportedly led law enforcement officials back to the scene of the crime and pointed out the exact location where she murdered the disabled girl who was in her care.

Bobokulova reportedly told police that she strangled 4-year-old Nastya Meshcheryakova before decapitating her with a kitchen knife. The child’s remains were found in her cot.

Now the nanny is telling the media that “Allah ordered” her to kill the child. The admission came just before Bobokulova’s court hearing Wednesday.

Bobokulova was apprehended on Monday near a metro station in Moscow, where she was waving the dead child’s head and shouting “Allahu Akbar, I am a terrorist, I am a suicide bomber.”

The so-called “bloody nanny” was quiet in court but smiled during the hearing. She told the judge that she was born in 1977 and has three children.

According to officials, Bobokulova will officially be charged March 4. She will be preliminarily detained until April 29.

After Investigative Committee staff noted the nanny’s “inappropriate behavior,” the decision was made to have her undergo psychiatric evaluation, RIA Novosti reported.

When asked in court if she pleaded guilty, Bobokulova said “Yes.” The investigation revealed that she had “instigators” who encouraged her to kill the girl.

A source involved in the investigation told TASS that the experts should consider all possible scenarios, including “possible incitement.”

“Mentally sick people usually become victims of extremists as they quickly come under their influence,” the source said.

According to the source, police are currently trying to identify Bobokulova’s boyfriend, whom the suspect mentioned during questioning.

The decapitated body of the deceased girl was discovered by firefighters responding to a blaze in a Moscow apartment. Investigators believe that Bobokulova waited until the girl’s parents had left the apartment with their elder child, then murdered the 4-year-old and set fire to the home.

Bobokulova reportedly then put the child’s decapitated head in a bag and rode a tram to the Metro station.

Bobokulova reportedly worked as a nanny for the family for two years. The child apparently suffered from a severe nervous system disability.

According to the chief of the Moscow division of the Federal Migration Service, Bobokulova did not possess a work permit. A law enforcement source told Interfax that the nanny was under the influence of drugs when she was arrested.
