During debate commercial breaks, most candidates use their allotted time to run to the restroom, get a powder touch-up, or meet with their advisers to form a plan to best attack the next segment of the debate. But Texas Sen. Ted Cruz was caught doing something quite different during Thursday's GOP debate.
Video captured by Independent Journal Review's Benny Johnson shows that Cruz used his break time to spend more time with his family, especially his two daughters, Caroline and Catherine:
