Watch DNC Chair's Response When Fox News Host Points Out Clinton Faces Possible Indictment

"There's an open DOJ and FBI investigation into Clinton right now."

Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Tuesday dismissed the idea that Hillary Clinton faces a possible indictment over her emails — something Fox News host Megyn Kelly did not let her off the hook for.

The exchange occurred after Wasserman Schultz knocked the Republicans for the recent brash rhetoric that has dominated the party's debates.

"You know what the response to that on the other side is which is things have gotten a little vulgar on the GOP side, but no one is facing the threat of indictment," Kelly said.

"There's no one facing the threat of indictment on our side, either, Megyn," Wasserman Schultz shot back.

"There's an open DOJ and FBI investigation into Clinton right now," Kelly rebutted.

"Let's not be melodramatic," Wasserman Schultz said.

"How is that melodramatic? Those are the facts," Kelly pressed.

"Well, predicting that there is someone facing indictment is definitely melodramatic," Wasserman Schultz said.

"There was no prediction," Kelly argued. "There was a statement that there is no one on the GOP side under the threat of indictment. That's what Republicans say on this."

"No. Instead you have the Republican Party who is being led right now by their front-runner who has a multi-bankrupted — you know, absolutely outrageous ridiculous position," Wasserman Schultz said.
