March 21, 2016
Republican front-runner Donald Trump continued his verbal assault on Fox News host Megyn Kelly Monday, taking credit for her success in an interview with CNN.
"I will fight back with Twitter. I will let people know she's a third-rate talent. I will say what I have to say," Trump told host Wolf Blitzer. "It's very simple."

In the interview, Trump took credit for Kelly's success.
"Seriously. If she didn't talk about me her ratings would go down like a rock," Trump claimed.
He added, “She’s hotter now than ever before because of me. She should give me at least half her salary.”
Despite Trump's claims, Kelly enjoyed considerably high ratings before the start of the 2016 campaign. Since launching in 2013, her show has been number two in all of cable news, according to Nielson.
