Man Was Driving on Highway When Dashcam Captured Scary Tractor-Trailer Accident: 'A Close Call

Footage of a tractor-trailer overturning on a New York bridge Friday was captured by a vehicle's dash camera and uploaded online.

The scary moment occurred on the Tappan Zee Bridge during morning rush-hour and was the result of a mechanical failure, a local newspaper reported.

The video taken of the incident shows the trailer sending scrap metal flying in the air as it barrels into the center divider, causing significant damage.

Luckily, no one was hurt. A few nerves, however, were rattled

"My husband evidented this horrible accident happening in front of him today," the person who uploaded the footage wrote. "I am thanking God to keep my husband alive. It was a close call!!! So scary!!!"
