American Imam Says Clinton Shouldn't Be President: 'What If She's on Her Menses?'

"I don't believe she should be put in that position."

American Imam Abu Taubah, whose real name is Marcus Robertson, took an incredibly bold stance against Hillary Clinton Tuesday, claiming the former secretary is unfit for the presidency because of her menstrual cycle.

Taubah told Fox News host Greta Van Susteren that he does not particularly like either candidate, but did note that enjoys Donald Trump's "braggish" manner. However, when it came to Clinton, the imam made clear that — in his view — no woman should ever lead the nation.

"As a Muslim, I object to Hillary Clinton, though," Taubah said. "I don’t believe a woman should be the president of a nation. Our prophet [inaudible], he taught us, whenever a woman is in charge, there's going to be problems."

"What if she’s on her menses and it’s time to go to war?" he inquired. "She’s gonna press the button ‘cause she’s angry? You know, I don't believe she should be put in that position."

He noted that the U.S. is "still debating" whether or not women should be permitted to participate in the military in combat positions alongside men.

Taubah also told Van Susteren he "doesn't trust" Clinton because of her record. The Muslim leader mentioned that he liked Bernie Sanders because "he seemed honest."
