Report: Orlando Terrorist’s Wife Could Face Charges After Making Shocking Admission to FBI

She is cooperating with investigators.

The wife of Orlando gunman Omar Mateen told the FBI she attempted to talk him out of his deadly terror attack, NBC News reported, and now she may face criminal charges.

Mateen's wife Noor told agents she was with her husband when he purchased ammunition and a holster, NBC News reported, citing officials familiar with the case. She also told the FBI that on one occasion she drove him to Pulse — the gay nightclub where Mateen killed 49 people Sunday — because he wanted to scope it out, the network added.

Authorities may file criminal charges against Mateen's wife because she didn't alert them about what she knew, law enforcement officials told NBC News, which added that no decision has been made and that she is cooperating with investigators.

Mateen, who died in a shootout with police, was married twice and is the father of a 3-year-old boy.
