The Rock Calls Out Male 'Fast and Furious' Co-Stars in Blistering Post: 'My Blood Is Legit Boiling
August 09, 2016
"Candy a**es."
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson railed against his male "Fast and Furious 8" co-stars in a scathing Instagram post Monday. With the eighth installment of the "Fast and Furious" series in its final week of filming, the actor determined that it was time the public knew a few details about the cast.
Johnson had positive things to say about the film crew, Universal and his female co-stars. But when he got to the male cast members, the tone shifted radically.
"Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses," he wrote in the post.
The actor indicated that his male co-stars aggravated him to the point where he said "my blood is legit boiling," though he refrained from specifying the conduct that prompted such a reaction.
When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling — you’re right. Bottom line is it’ll play great for the movie and fits this Hobbs character that’s embedded in my DNA extremely well. The producer in me is happy about this part.
Though Johnson is careful not to name names in the post, the male "Fast 8" stars include Vin Diesel, Ludacris, Kurt Russell, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, Lucas Black and Scott Eastwood.
