Failed Texas gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis took to Twitter Tuesday to offer her support to Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, urging the nation to “elect the first woman president today.”
Davis, who once infamously filibustered in the Texas legislature in support of abortion, tweeted a cartoon picture of Clinton wearing a pink sweater emblazoned with female reproductive organs.
Who's ready to elect the first woman president today??? #ImWitHer #ElectionDay https://t.co/pcdnqeB71c— Wendy Davis (@Wendy Davis) 1478612289.0
Davis also attempted to use a hashtag associated with Clinton’s campaign — #ImWithHer — but misspelled it.
Davis has frequently campaigned for Clinton during the 2016 election cycle.
