F**k Bono': Liberals explode over reports that U2's Bono met with Mike Pence in Germany

MUNICH, GERMANY - FEBRUARY 17: Irish musician and chairman of ONE Bono addresses the audience at the 2017 Munich Security Conference on February 17, 2017 in Munich, Germany. The 2017 Munich Security Conference, which brings together leading government figures from across the globe to discuss issues of common security concern, is taking place in the wake of the ascendence of Donald Trump to the U.S. presidency and the appointment of a new U.S. government cabinet. Trump has repeatedly called for a more isolationist United States, which has caused alarm among many world leaders concerned about the U.S.'s continued commitment to matters of global security. World famous signer Paul Hewson, known by his stage name "Bono" who leads the rock group U2, met with Vice President Mike Pence during a security conference in Germany on Saturday — and liberals couldn't stand it.

From The Hill:

According to a pool report, the two men shared an exchange about the 2003 passage of the President's Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief and its 2008 renewal, which Pence advocated for as an Indiana congressman.

"Twice on the House floor you defended that. That’s how we know you," Bono, who has been a vocal proponent of the fight against AIDS, told Pence.

"And we really appreciate it," he added.

In almost no time at all, liberals on Twitter began to explode over Bono's friendly meeting.

"Man, f**k Bono," added Twitter user Jordan Rucks.

"Are you f**king kidding me @U@ Mike Pence shut down Planned Parenthood in Indiana and caused an HIV epidemic," said Twitter user Colin Taylor.

"F**K!! #Resist!" said Twitter user Rebecca Mae.
