Megyn Kelly castigates Hollywood: 'Moralize' yourselves before lecturing Americans

NBC News host Megyn Kelly knocked Hollywood hypocrisy Monday while discussing the entertainment industry's ever-evolving sexual misconduct allegations.

What did she say?

Kelly opened her NBC show with a recap of the growing list of those in Hollywood who have been accused of sexual misconduct.

"The growing list of men accused of misconduct, it's looking like Santa's scroll," she said.

Kelly then referred to an NBC report that the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating nearly two dozen alleged sex crime cases related to Hollywood.

"This is the same industry that has been lecturing to us at every awards show for years about morals and values," she said. "It seems some of the moralizing should have been directed at themselves before they lectured the rest of America on how they need to be living."

"Perhaps," she added, "they could have focused more on people like Harvey Weinstein, not to mention Roman Polanski and Kevin Spacey, who have been accused of criminal assault."

After her comments, Kelly interviewed former TV news anchor Heather Unruh whose 18-year-old son was reportedly one of Spacey's victims.
