Rand Paul's annual Festivus airing of grievances targets Ted Cruz, aliens

Long time followers of Senator Rand Paul's twitter feed know that the sometimes offbeat Kentucky Republican makes a big deal out of the fictional holiday Festivus, which was popularized by the telveision Sitcom "Seinfeld." One of the main traditions of Festivus, according to the show, was the annual "airing of grievances," which Senator Paul has elevated to an art form.
Some of the grievances were substantive, such as a series of grievances about how the government spends taxpayer money:
Others were more tongue-in-cheek, and targeted his colleagues in the Senate. For instance, Orrin Hatch:
He also poked fun at the government's program to discover alien life, which was apparently developed at the best of former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.)
Paul also poked fun at Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who got in a highly publicized Twitter spat with Star Wars star Mark Hamill:
And of course, no Twitter airing of grievances would be complete without a friendly joke about President Donald Trump:
Last year, Paul celebrated Festivus with an election-themed airing of grievances against his fellow Republican presidential candidates.
