A conservative TV host on local St. Louis television has lost advertisers after reportedly tweeting a profane message on March 26 about Parkland, Florida, survivor David Hogg.
Jamie Allman, host of KDNL-TV's "The Allman Report," reportedly said in a tweet that he was preparing to "ram a hot poker" up Hogg's backside.
Allman, who the Riverfront Times calls "pro-Trump," shared a screenshot of a deleted tweet purported to belong to Allman.
The tweet in question read, "When we kick their a** they all like to claim we're drunk. I've been hanging out getting ready to ram a hot poker up David Hogg's a** tomorrow. Busy working. Preparing."
The context surrounding Allman's purported tweet is unclear at this time.
As a result of the tweet, Allman's show reportedly has lost three sponsors.
The Riverfront Times reported that the three sponsors who pulled out of Allman's show were Ruth's Chris Steak House, Palm Health, and a local real estate group.
This is a most unfortunate situation and what has taken place is contrary to PALM Health's core values. We have contacted the radio station not only to voice our concern, but we have also stopped advertising on Jamie Allman's show.
