'You're the party of this bulls**t!' — Bill Maher ridicules Liz Warren over transgender statement

"Is she running for president of Berkeley?"
Liberal comedian Bill Maher mocked Sen. Liz Warren (D-Mass.) over a statement she made in support of the transgender cause, and it's enraged liberals on social media.
Maher made the comments during his HBO show, "Real Time with Bill Maher," on Friday.
"Elizabeth Warren, who I've always liked, but she kind of like did some stuff I didn't like, and today she came out, listen to this, she wants her secretary of education to be vetted by a high school student, I'm not kidding," Maher said to his audience.
"She said a young trans person, I believe in high school, 'I'm going to have a secretary of education that this young trans person interviews on my behalf, and only if this person believes our secretary of education nominee is absolutely committed,'" he continued.
"Now Obama said people just don't want crazy stuff; is this not crazy stuff?" Maher added.
"Is she running for president of Berkeley?" he mocked to applause and laughter from his audience.
"I always worry when this stuff happens, I always say, there's only two teams now," Maher continued.
"Everything that happens on the left goes into the blue bin," he explained. "You're the party of this bulls**t!"
Warren was seen as a competitor to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) for the progressive vote in the Democratic primary, but her campaign has fallen on tough times while Sanders has seen a surge in polling.
