Leftist Rep. Cori Bush names the 'Winners' of the Republican debate as 'Racism,' 'Fascism,' and more

Democratic Rep. Cori Bush of Missouri issued a list of "Winners" from the first Republican presidential primary debate of the 2024 election cycle, but the uber-leftist lawmaker's list does not include any candidates. Instead, she claimed that "Fascism," "Hatred," Bigotry," "Racism," "Ignorance," and "Corruption" prevailed at the event.

"Every candidate made clear last night that the GOP is a threat to democracy as a whole," Bush added.

Eight Republican presidential hopefuls participated in the debate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Wednesday, but former President Donald Trump, the clear frontrunner in the GOP nominating contest, was conspicuously absent because he had opted to skip the event.

Popular conservative media figure Tucker Carlson released an interview of Trump on X just before of the start of the debate. Trump has been trouncing the rest of the GOP primary field, according to polls, so he appears to be on track to easily lock up the nomination.

Some of the GOP presidential candidates have indicated that they would support eliminating the Department of Education, but Bush has described that government department as "important."

"The Department of Education is important. Teachers are important. Teachers unions are important. We will not allow these out-of-touch, extremist Republicans to come after our children’s education," she wrote.

The second GOP primary debate is scheduled to take place next month, but Trump has indicated that he plans to skip all of the primary debates.

"The public knows who I am & what a successful Presidency I had, with Energy Independence, Strong Borders & Military, Biggest EVER Tax & Regulation Cuts, No Inflation, Strongest Economy in History, & much more. I WILL THEREFORE NOT BE DOING THE DEBATES!" Trump wrote Sunday on Truth Social.
