A former bartender is accusing CNN's Don Lemon of really gross behavior — and he's suing him
August 13, 2019
This is pretty disgusting
A former bartender is suing CNN host Don Lemon over gross behavior that the man says left him "traumatized" and "humiliated."
The Suffolk County Supreme Court suit says that Dustin Hice saw Lemon, who is openly gay, at a bar after work in July 2018.
The lawsuit says he "noticed a familiar face and realized that Mr. Lemon was also at the bar, seemingly enjoying a drink with his friends."
Hice says that he tried to get Lemon's attention and offer him a drink but the CNN host refused.
The lawsuit claims that Lemon accosted Hice later in the evening.
"Mr. Lemon, who was wearing a pair of shorts, sandals, and a t-shirt, put his hand down the front of his own shorts, and vigorously rubbed his genitalia," the lawsuit said, "removed his hand and shoved his index and middle fingers in Plaintiff's moustache and under Plaintiff's nose."
Hice claims that Lemon asked him repeatedly, "Do you like p***y or d**k?" and kept pushing his fingers in Hice's face "with aggression and hostility."
The lawsuit says Hice fled the bar but that the interaction took a social toll on him.
Hice says that he has been mocked and humiliated by those who heard about the altercation. He claims that he suffered "severe emotional stress and loss of future earnings and opportunities" because of Lemon's behavior.
The New York Post reported that a source close to Lemon told them that the plaintiff in the lawsuit had demanded $1.5 million before he filled the complaint.
