Hulk Hogan on getting baptized: 'Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life'

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan said being baptized has been the greatest day of his life.

Hogan, 70, posted a video of him being baptized on Instagram with the caption: "Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life. No worries, no hate, no judgment… only love!"

His wife, Sky Daily Hogan, was also baptized on the same day at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Largo, Florida.

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea, also proclaimed his devotion to his faith in a post shared on the X social media platform in April.

Hogan previously wrote, "I accepted Christ as my savior at 14yrs old, and the training, prayers and vitamins kept me in the game but now that I am one with God, the main event theme of surrender, service and love makes me the Real Main Event that can slam any giant of any size through the power of my Lord and Savior and so it is, even now brother, AMEN!"

During a "This Past Weekend with Theo Von" interview in July, Hogan said he was saved when he was 14 years old.

Hogan said, "Then I heard John 3:16: 'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.' Bam! It hit me."

"Then of course I derailed for a long time," Hogan admitted. "You know and went back and forth to church every once in a while."

Hogan told host Theo Von that his first wife was Catholic but that "didn't resonate" with him.

He noted that his second wife was spiritual, "but she wasn't a Believer, so that didn't work for me."

In August, Hogan explained why his religion is so important to him during an interview on "The Joe Rogan Experience."

Hogan noted that a lot of churchgoers "plug in and plug out," but he said, "I don't plug out, once I'm plugged in, I'm there. I've seen it change a lot of people."

Prolific podcaster Joe Rogan agreed, "There's also some real power to a bunch of people getting together to agree that they're there to be a better person in the eyes of God. There's something there's something very powerful about that a group of everybody that meets together in the community at a certain time, dress nice, and just all agrees that we're here to try to be a better person in the eyes of God."
