Marianne Williamson has indicated that she will mount another presidential bid.

"We're on the phone, but if we were on FaceTime, you'd see me wink," Williamson told Medill News Service when asked whether she is running. "I wouldn't be running for president if I didn't believe I could contribute to harnessing the collective sensibility that I feel is our greatest hope at this time."

Williamson, whose website describes her as an "author, political activist, and spiritual thought leader," has shared social media posts noting that she will make "AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT" on March 4.

"Well everyone, Saturday March 4 is going to be a big day. Hopefully it will be the beginning of a new trajectory in American history, when enough of us are willing to have a meaningful conversation about what we need to put an end to and what is now struggling to be born," she wrote in an Instagram post.

"What needs to end is an era of corruption brought about by our second Gilded Age, an era in which corporate profits were placed before the safety, health and wellbeing of our people and planet. What needs to be born is an era in which we push back against such institutional abuse, return our government to one 'of the people, by the people, and for the people,' and replace soulless economic values with humanitarian values that honor us all and the earth on which we
live," she wrote.

Williamson mounted a presidential bid as a Democrat during the previous election cycle, but ultimately dropped out in January 2020.

President Joe Biden has indicated that it is his "intention" to seek re-election — but he has not yet announced an official decision.

On the other side of the aisle, former President Donald Trump, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, and Vivek Ramaswamy have announced presidential bids.
