Mika Brzezinski defends Joe Biden from ‘woke’ Democrats on ‘Morning Joe’: ‘You're eating your young!’

MSNBC "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski defended former Vice President Joe Biden for a second day in a row.

Brzezinski tackled allegations that Biden acted inappropriately with two women and said that "woke" Democrats weren't doing their party any favors by blasting potential presidential frontrunners.

Brzezinski explained that she hopes Biden won't stifle his affectionate nature because of the allegations.

"I think the next time I see Joe Biden and he doesn't hug me, and give me a kiss and hold my hand while we're talking to you, that's the new Joe Biden, and that's not the Joe Biden I knew," Brzezinski said, clearly saddened.

Biden stands accused of acting inappropriately — but non-sexually — with at least two women. Biden, who is expected to launch a presidential campaign in the coming days, has denied all allegations.

"He's a nice guy, he's not a predator, and this is ridiculous," she insisted.

"Let me just say it, this is ridiculous," Brzezinski continued. "It's completely … the conversation has gotten out of control. And Democrats and those on the left who want to tweet me today and go nuts and get all woke, you're eating your young!"

She continued, "You're eating those who can beat Trump, you're killing the very people who have been pushing women ahead, who've been fighting for equal pay, who have been doing everything they can to respect women in their lives."

"I don't understand it," the MSNBC co-host added.
