A 28-year-old woman who lives with her parents in their Florida home allegedly got a little steamed after Mom and Dad refused to take her out to eat, ABC News reported, citing police documents.

What happened?

Deana Seltzer "became enraged" Wednesday after she asked to go to Outback Steakhouse and was told "no," her mother — Lydumila Seltzer — told Palm Beach County deputies, the network said, citing a probable cause affidavit.

The 28-year-old began striking her mother with closed fists on the chest and arms, and then scratched her father's face and upper body when he tried to intervene, ABC News said, citing authorities.

Deana Seltzer then "began screaming and flipped over a large heavy glass table top," breaking it into "hundreds of pieces," the network reported, citing the document.

'I'm going to f***ing kill you'

The daughter then flipped over recliner chairs and tore up other pieces of furniture before running into the hallway, ripping a 12-inch decorative knife from the wall, and chasing her father — Vadim Seltzer — while making "slashing" motions with the knife and screaming, "I'm going to f***ing kill you," ABC News said, citing authorities.

He called 911 and told dispatchers his daughter was armed with a knife before the line went dead, the network reported, citing authorities who said he was able to grab his daughter's arm and wrestle the knife away from her.

Deputies made their way to the Lake Worth home and set up a perimeter around it, after which Vadim Seltzer ran out the front door followed seconds later by his daughter, ABC News said, who wasn't holding a weapon.

Deana Seltzer was taken into custody without incident, the network said, citing the affidavit. The deputies entered the home, and found a "large glass dining room table flipped over and broken glass scattered throughout the dining area" and the knife in question on the kitchen table, according to the affidavit.

Authorities said "both victims in this case are elderly and frail," ABC News reported.

What happened to the daughter?

Deana Seltzer was charged with simple battery, battery of a person 65 or older, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, the network said, citing the document. She was released from jail Thursday on supervised recognizance, ABC News said, noting jail records.

The network said it couldn't immediately reach Deana Seltzer for comment and that it's unclear if she has a lawyer.

A Palm Beach County judge ordered that Seltzer undergo a mental health assessment upon her release from jail, WPLG-TV reported, adding that she also was ordered to stay away from drugs, alcohol, and weapons.
