Roslyn Singleton, who appeared on 'America's Got Talent' when her husband Ray auditioned, dies of brain cancer

Roslyn Singleton, a Navy veteran and the wife of former "America's Got Talent" contestant Ray Singleton, passed away from brain cancer at the age of 39 years old.

The woman appeared on AGT when her husband auditioned for the popular talent show.

"Our wife earned her wings ... while peacefully sleeping right at home where she wanted to be," Ray Singleton noted in an Instagram post. "This road ahead is going to be INCREDIBLY long & difficult! She taught us all SOMETHING…She’s where we’re all trying to get one day so no need to be sad! Now we celebrate her legacy, her impact, her story & HER SPIRIT! She will LIVE FOREVER!!"

The couple appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" after video of Ray singing to his wife had apparently gone viral. During their appearance, Roslyn explained that her first experience with brain cancer was in 2013. After that, she was healthy for six years before another growth was discovered and dealt with.

But sadly, as novanthealth.org noted, Roslyn got cancer again. "Whenever there's something going on in my life, God always puts the right people just right in front of me to make it a little easier," Roslyn said.

"I was devastated to hear that the incredible Roslyn passed away a few days ago," DeGeneres said in an Instagram post lamenting the woman's passing. "She was such a light in the face of really difficult circumstances. I hope her memory inspires you the way it inspires me. Sending all her loved ones so much love and strength, especially her amazing husband, Ray."
