Listen: Psychologists marched in New York last weekend – you already know why

Over the weekend, 125 professionals in the world of psychology marched on Broadway to protest President Donald Trump, declaring him mentally unfit to be president even though they’ve never met him.

Apparently, they’ve forgotten the Goldwater Rule. The march violated psychology ethics since mental health experts aren’t supposed to diagnose without examining someone in person. In 1964, a survey found that a majority of psychiatrists thought Barry Goldwater, the Republican presidential candidate, was not mentally fit to be president.

Doc and Kal talked about the effects of “Trump Derangement Syndrome” on today’s show as the world continues to go downhill.
