Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg is urging people to educate themselves about the shale revolution after a recent trip to North Dakota. He visited the Bakken shale formation and posted about his experience on his own Facebook wall. Jacki Daily shared some of the stories he told there on "The Jacki Daily Show."
He touted the ability of persons with high school diplomas to make $100,000 a year in fracking fields. Fracking is a method of extracting oil and natural gas. According to the United States Geological Survey it is safe, but is controversial among many on the political left due to negative campaigns against the practice.
Zuckerberg also talked about the cost savings per barrel afforded by the Dakota access pipeline, and how excited North Dakotans were when President Donald Trump approved it. "That word 'hope' came up many times," he reported to his Facebook followers.
