Sen. Bernie Sanders says the Green New Deal doesn't go far enough

Monday, on "Pat Gray Unleashed," Pat Gray and Keith Malinak discussed a couple of the Green New Deal-obsessed Democratic presidential candidates — Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and self-proclaimed "the climate change candidate" Washington Gov. Jay Inslee.

Sanders recently spoke with "The View" co-host Sunny Hostin about the Green New Deal and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's (D-N.Y.) remarks on the effects of climate change and whether or not it is moral to have children.

"Does she have a point there, or is she too radical?" Hostin asked.

"That is an enormously personal choice that every couple is going to have to make," Sanders replied.

Sanders redirected the conversation toward President Donald Trump, asserting that he is "embarrassed that we have a president who refuses to acknowledge climate change."

When asked if the Green New Deal goes too far, Sanders, without hesitation answered "no."

Inslee told NBC's "Meet the Press" host Chuck Todd that "climate change is not just about the economy," but rather it "is the economy."

Pat said that only 3 percent of the population cares about the climate change issue, making the push for the New Green Deal ridiculous.
