Campus News: UMass-Dartmouth set to offer 'Ecofeminism' course — available this spring
January 07, 2019
A high-priced waste of time
On Monday's episode of "Pat Gray Unleashed," Pat Gray and Keith Malinak discussed a new course — "Ecofeminism Philosophy and Practice" — being offered to University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth students. The course, available beginning in the spring semester, will cost students $1,218 — before registration fees — and will focus on the study of "ecofeminist theories."
"Ecofeminism course will include: The study of ecofeminism as systems of oppression based on race, class, gender, sexuality, and ethnicity that stem from a cultural ideology that enables the oppression of nature," CampusReform.org reported.
Pat and Keith poked fun at the course, pointing out the absurdity of the course, calling it a "waste of time and money."
