Joe Biden surges in South Carolina primary polls. Is it too late for a comeback?

Down but not out.

Just as Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) seemed almost certain to secure the Democratic presidential nomination, former-Vice President Joe Biden might be making a major comeback.

Biden -- who has struggled early in the 2020 campaign -- is now up by double digits in recent South Carolina primary polls. Anything can happen, and if the Biden campaign clinches Saturday's primary, Super Tuesday may be his to lose.
