The unidentified man retreated to Mexico immediately after the two girls were on the U.S. side of the border barrier.

According to the tweet, as Border Patrol agents went to administer medical care to the two young girls, 10 illegal immigrants crossed the border into the U.S. All 10 are currently at large. The two girls are reportedly in Border Patrol custody.

Pat asserted that these smugglers know exactly what they are doing because they do this all of the time.
