Former president of Mexico tells US that gun control ‘must be dealt with’
October 03, 2017
Vicente Fox, former president of Mexico, joined the calls for gun control reform in the U.S., tweeting, “#GunControl is a topic that must be dealt with ASAP. American people must not be looking over their shoulder for their countrymen.”
People began crying “#GunControlNow” almost immediately after the shooting in Las Vegas late Sunday night. Whether or not it’s constitutional, it’s one thing when Americans are calling for gun rights to be curtailed – and another when someone from another country is doing it.
While sitting in for Glenn this morning, Doc was blunt in his reaction to the former president's tweet.
“So the citizens of Mexico are willing to risk their life walking across the desert with no water to come to this country, but he thinks this country’s worse?” he asked.
