Gun ownership is a right: Libertarian rapper drops some truth about the Second Amendment

Eric July is a libertarian rapper and activist based in Dallas. Front man of the rap metal band BackWordz, July says he became a libertarian after seeing how big government hurt the black community. His political views have sparked opposition and vitriol from liberal African-Americans. July came into the studio today to chat with Doc about his shift to libertarian ideas; his music; and his thoughts on the Second Amendment in the wake of the March for Our Lives movement.

"I just realize the important of gun ownership and private property rights going hand in hand," July summed up his views on the Second Amendment.
