Philly's soda tax represents progressivism at its worst

Glenn Beck discusses Philadelphia's soda tax with Stu Burguiere and Pat Gray. The city's mayor, Jim Kenney, has blamed restaurants and businesses for passing the tax burden on to their consumers and even raising prices beyond the tax amount in order to anger Philadelphians and stir up opposition to the tax. Soda retailers, meanwhile, argue that because the tax is applied per ounce on wholesale transactions, the price of concentrated syrups used in soda fountains has nearly doubled, forcing businesses to pass the costs on to customers.
