Your children often learn from what you are doing, not what you're teaching. DOCK 2’s Tracy Levinson learned that the hard way when she heard her daughter using language she never meant to teach her.
Tracy advised apologizing for exposing children to our spontaneous anger, because they will pick up that behavior, too. The same daughter also picked up on her learning and love of God this way.
