Video: Hillary's memoir comparison will make you laugh -- or maybe 'feel bad for her
September 14, 2017
In her memoir titled “What Happened,” Hillary Clinton wrote that she felt like the “Game of Thrones” character, Cersei Lannister, when “Crowds at Trump rallies called for my imprisonment.” She added, “They shouted, ‘Guilty! Guilty!’ like the religious zealots in ‘Game of Thrones’ chanting ‘Shame! Shame!’ while Cersei Lannister walked back to the Red Keep.”
In this video clip from “Dana” today, Dana Loesch questioned the wisdom of making such a comparison since the character, Cersei, is known for being a ruthless, power-hungry villain who also had an incestuous affair.
"It kind of sounds like Hillary Clinton is comparing herself to a brother-loving psychopath,” said Dana to guest-panelist, Matt Walsh.
“I haven’t seen it. The show is basically ‘Lord of the Rings’ with incest, right?” asked Matt. Then came his shocking confession: “There’s a weird thing that’s happening to me, with Hillary Clinton, ah, emotionally, where I almost feel sorry for her,” said Matt. "It’s so pitiful that she’s this woman, this elderly woman, and she’s been trying so hard to be president, and it just never has worked, and she can’t accept it. And so now she’s like roaming the forest….” Just to clarify, Matt later added, “I can feel bad for her and laugh at her at the same time, you know. I have that talent.”
