Is it ever too early to eat some chips and queso? “The Morning Blaze” guys ate some of the Tex-Mex treat this morning from a Texas-headquartered burrito spot that wants to give Chipotle a run for its money.
Location manager Chris Woods joined the guys in the studio to talk about Freebirds, a burrito chain with locations in seven states, and explain the restaurant’s secret to success: fresh ingredients. Chipotle introduced its take on queso earlier this year.
“Who doesn’t like queso at 7:30 [a.m.], right?” Woods joked.
“Any day and any time is a good time for queso,” Brad said.
