I want to tell you what it’s like to live in most of Israel right now.
A missile is fired by Hamas in Gaza…
A siren goes off.
You get 15 seconds to find shelter.
I want Americans to think about what that means.
If you lived in a place where missiles were fired at you…
Hundreds a day…
And you would get just 15 seconds to hide…
How would you live?
Stop what you’re doing. Run to a basement. A shelter.
And if you can’t make it inside…
Lie flat on the ground with your arms over your head.
That’s life in Israel right now.
None of us would be willing to accept this.
None of us would have to.
Every country has a right to defend itself against terror.
But they keep telling Israel… “don’t overreact!” “don’t fire back!” “be careful!” “don’t ramp things up!”
Let me get this straight…
If Mexico fired a missile into El Paso, you know what we would do?
If Japan fired a missile into Beijing, you know what China would do?
So why does Israel have to hold back?
Why does every country get to defend itself…
But not Israel?
Why could that be?
I think we know why.
A Jewish man was walking down the street in midtown Manhattan over the weekend.
He passed by a group of people protesting on the street.
They were holding up signs, criticizing Israel.
He was wearing a yarmulke.
So they called him a “dirty Jew.”
We’ve seen this move before.
We’ve seen the terror before.
We’ve seen the sirens…and the bombs… and the threats.
We’ve even seen the insults.
“Dirty Jew.”
Nothing original there.
So I think we know what’s really going on here.
It has nothing to do with embargoes… or borders… or anything else that CAN be solved.
It’s because Israel exists. And it’s a Jewish state.
Let’s be honest with ourselves.
There are some people who can’t get past that.
The world’s oldest hatred.
Anti-Semitism.
It’s alive in our time. And it’s not hiding.
It’s right there in Gaza.
Gaza is the new Nuremberg.
The epicenter of Jew-hatred.
The birthplace of a million young haters.
And they all want the same thing.
Kill the Jews.
That’s all they know.
All they ever will know.
In every generation that came before us,
They would beat up the Jews.
Harass the Jews.
Chase the Jews.
Kill the Jews.
Always the Jews.
And usually, they got away with it.
But not this time.
No more.
This time, we will stand with Israel.
We will stand for the truth.
We will stand for freedom.
We will stand for life.
And so I want to say something.
Something for those kids in the bomb shelters.
The kids who can’t keep their sheets dry at night, they’re so scared.
The kids who are just like my own kids.
They just want to play with their friends.
See them at school.
They don’t want to hide in holes in the ground.
We are with you.
We will always be with you.
You have many, many friends here in America.
And this is a message for Israel’s leaders.
We will not forget you, nor forsake you.
We are brothers.
The nation of Israel lives… forever.

God bless you Glenn and the people of Israel. Thank you also Glenn for speaking out as many of us can only hope that our president would, if he had the courage or if he had the true conviction that Israel does indeed have the right to defend itself. We will pray and sacrifice that Israel may exercise this right to defend itself in the face of anti-semitism and so-called religions that claim that the annihilation of Israel is pleasing to God who is actually far above the desires of these earthly cults for self-aggrandizement.

  God is the problem, since before the crusades, men have killed each other claiming the same divine deed to the same dirt. I do not support Israel, nor do I support Hamas, I support the citizens caught in between two belligerents who find it easier to kill than to talk. Israel is not divine its a country formed from the guilt of Europe in the aftermath of WWII. Less talk of God and more talk of the victims, of terror from both sides, of the blockade of supplies starving the Palestinians as we rightfully condemn the Hamas rockets.

  Both sides are evil. One side starves the citizens, treats the citizens as second class citizens in their own land, and destroy homes to make room for more settlers. The other side fires off rockets. Israel is not on the side of right, they are doing to the Palestinians what the Nazis did to them.

  Because the rhetoric by militant Islamo-fascist Muslims who have the weapons and the backing of Iranian religious leaders includes a total annihilation of Israel stance, we will take attacks against the sovereign state seriously and defend her, even if Barrack Hussein O. falls short of his so-called commitment.
  
  Peace is preserved through justice. The repudiation of any tenets that include the destruction of Israel is paramount toward achieving justice. The Arab world bears responsibility for caring for their sisters and brothers though they most often ignore this responsibility in favor of maniacal activity aimed at achieving a world that is 100% muslim.

I’m sure you believe that those Palestinian children that are dying had it coming. Shame on them for being born to Palestinian parents.   you only seem to be concerned when Palestinians are killed. they have had numerous chances for peace like the one negotiated before the second intifada but they instead chose to fight instead of accept very good terms for them. also werent the palestinians kicked out of jordan as well? why dont they bomb them? as far as the sanctity of life issue i would agree but they dont, backed by a country who sent children to clear land mines leaves me to believe that hamas only wants the world to believe in the sanctity of life but they are exempt because they kill jews…

Yes Glenn – many of us agree – And since it’s a letter of understanding and support to the Jewish people and Israel, perhaps there is a way that we can each sign it and thus join our voices to yours? It might be a good ‘take action’ piece…. : )

Who invented the game of chess Persia which is Iran now, they need to make problems for Israel make them look like the bad guy, so they could gain world support.
Almost all U.S. news networks are controlled by Muslims or Communists, because “they own controlling stock shares of these U.S. news agencies”. also pay attention to “some of the anchors” making these reports look at the last name,Hmmm.
