Glenn: Persecution of Christians in the Middle East, 'It's so horrific it's beyond our imagination
December 06, 2017
The Nazarene Fund’s CEO, Tim Ballard, joined Glenn on the show today to give an update on the non-profit organization’s mission to rescue Christians and other religious minorities from persecution and slavery in the Middle East.
The Nazarene Fund has set a goal to raise $25 million in the next 12 months to continue it's fight against ISIS and other criminal organizations such in the Middle East, Northern Africa and around the world.
“There are thousands of Christian and Yazidi people who are being enslaved right now and they’re being used for whatever these elements want - these ISIS elements and other criminal organizations - and one of those things that they’re being used for is selling their organs,” explained Tim.
"It's so horrific and so beyond our imagination," said Glenn, "It will be shocking to the Western World."
"It will be shocking, and it needs to be shocking. These are the under-belly things in the world that are going on," Tim said, adding, "It's something that we need to open our eyes to. It's hard to look at."
