Muslim political activist Linda Sarsour took to Twitter on Tuesday to respond to the Supreme Court’s decision upholding President Trump’s executive order pausing immigration from some Muslim-majority countries.
Sarsour, who has openly called for Muslims to wage “jihad” against Trump, tweeted, “Whether or not it’s in the President’s powers, this is still a discriminatory and xenophonic policy and we will not allow it.”
Sarsour, who has called for the Muslim community to be “perpetually outraged”, rallied her followers to protest the court’s decision on Tuesday night in Foley Square, a movement that has been publicly backed by the Women’s March as well.
