Where will the Left's war on monuments stop?

A veterans’ memorial that has stood at a busy intersection in a Washington, DC, suburb for almost a century is now in danger of being torn down due to a lawsuit alleging that the edifice — which is in the shape of a 40-foot cross — violates the Establishment Clause of the Constitution.

But this situation is part of a much larger trend. In case after case over the past few years, leftist and atheist groups — with the assistance of sympathetic federal judges — have sought to sterilize America’s public spaces from any war or veterans’ memorial that contains any reference to God whatsoever.

Below, the CHB team goes off the Hill to talk about the Olympic-caliber legal contortions involved in this most recent case and the consequences of stripping our public spaces of history just because it may hurt someone’s feelings.
