'Vindicated': MSM's surprising reaction to Mueller report finding no collusion

'I never thought I'd hear that come out of their mouths'

Special counsel Robert Mueller on Friday wrapped up his two-year investigation into alleged collusion between Russia and the Donald Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election. The investigation found no evidence of collusion between the campaign (or anyone associated with the campaign) and Russia's efforts to influence the election, according to a report sent to Congress by Attorney General William Barr on Sunday.

On Monday's radio program, Glenn Beck, Pat Gray, and Stu Burguiere took a closer look at the Mueller report and talked about the mainstream media's surprising reaction to the findings.

"CNN actually called him [President Donald Trump] 'exonerated' and MSNBC said 'vindicated.' ... I never thought I'd hear that come out of their mouths," Pat said.

"ABC News said the same," Stu added. "They are all saying this is a huge, huge win for the president."

Pat noted how many people on the left were actually disappointed that the president of the United States wasn't colluding with Russia. "They were rooting for the president to actually be a traitor," he said.

Glenn agreed, stating that both the media and the "Democrats in Washington" have been operating under the assumption that President Trump is guilty of "something" for the past two years.

"That's a witch hunt. That is the definition of a witch hunt," Glenn said.
