Liberal Group Releases Obama Attack Ad...Using Obama's Own Words

The rift on the left over Obama's tax rate compromise is quickly becoming a casm.

On Thursday, the Progressive Change Campaign Committee released an ad accusing President Obama of breaking campaign promises regarding tax rates. The ad features a campaign speech in which Obama claimed the Bush tax cuts "offend his conscience."

"If Obama won't fight for for his promise," the ad ends by saying, "then Congress needs to."

The ad is the second such video released by the group. Last week, it published a similar message again using Obama's own words against him:

The group's website, along with the ads, seems to advocate abandoning Obama because he's not progressive enough.
