If there's such a thing as a "professional criminal," this guy isn't it.
While trying to rob a convenience story in South Carolina, a would-be crook just couldn't figure out how to put his stick-em-up mask on. He tries several times. And fails. You'll probably rewind this a couple times:
The Associated Press says the man didn't get away with any cash.
In other non-professional criminal news, a man at a barber shop in Connecticut decided to stab another man halfway during his own haircut. He then fled the scene, creating another candidate for best mugshot of the year:
Police in Stamford, CT said in a statement that David Davis was getting a haircut when the victim approached in what Davis characterized as an "aggressive manner." He then picked up scissors to protect himself and slashed the man in the back.
The victim was wearing a large jacket which may have helped save him from severe wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where he is believed to be recovering. Davis was found hiding out in a nearby apartment.
