‘Nuclear Boy’ and His ‘Stinky Poo’ Help Japanese Kids Understand Radiation
March 22, 2011
Parents in Japan have struggled to calm the fears of their children following the devastating earthquake and near-meltdown of the Fukushima nuclear power plants damaged during the natural disaster. One innovative father, however, has brought an explanatory story to life on the internet that is gaining traction around the world for its G-rated message.
The animated story revolves around "Nuclear Boy" who has an upset stomach, much like Three Mile Island Boy and Chernobyl Boy have had in the past.
