You might have heard, but there's been this ongoing feud in the Middle East between Arabs and Jews. They've got some problems. But Chromeo, a Canadian electrofunk duo made up of one Jew and one Arab, is so over it.
"We're best friends since we were kids. It should never be awkward," David Macklovitch (the Jew) told TMZ over the weekend when asked whether their ethnic backgrounds ever made things weird. The other half of Chromeo, Patrick Gemayel, is Lebanese.
"I installed a checkpoint in the studio once," Macklovitch joked, then more seriously added, "We agree politically on everything. We're both very open minded."
