That heckler from Tuesday's debate? Andrew Vera, who says he's a veteran of the war in Iraq, takes the credit, according to a Patch.com affiliate in New Hampshire. Vera said he was responding to Rick Santorum's comments on the "breakdown of the American family."
"I said, 'Yeah, right, you say you want American Values back in the American Family, then where were you, when they booed the gay soldier during the last debate,'" Vera told Patch.
