Beck Tussles With Pro-Newt Caller on Radio: 'Throw My Books Away!

"If you haven't learned what a progressive is, throw them away."

Want to know an easy way to get Glenn Beck riled up? Just accuse him of drinking the "Kool-Aid" for Mitt Romney.

A pro-Newt Gingrich caller -- Ray -- found that out the hard when when he called into Beck's radio show on Thursday in an effort to set Beck straight on the 2012 presidential candidate, and to accuse Beck of supporting Romney. Adding to the whole scenario: Ray said he was a huge Beck fan and had every one of Beck's books, but was now considering throwing them all away. That's all Beck needed to hear.

Beck quickly reminded Ray that he's actually a Santorum fan, since he's come out several times and said Santorum is the candidate he'd vote for. He then let it fly.

"Are you a Newt Gingrich supporter? You surely are," Beck responded after Ray said yes, "then throw my books away. I've obviously not influenced your life at all. I want you to throw every book I've written, throw it away. I mean it Ray. If you haven't learned what a progressive is, throw them away. You never will."

Beck repeated himself a few more times, and eventually told Ray he would go to Rays house and throw his books away himself, before then offering to buy Ray's Beck books back. Watch the explosive, and entertaining, exchange:
