GBTV: AZ Radio Host Reveals Dems Trying to Raise Money Using Distorted Account of Tarmac Exchange

The Arizona Democratic party is trying to raise money from the frosty exchange between President Obama and AZ Gov. Jan Brewer that took place on an airport tarmac this week, according to a popular Arizona radio host.

Last night on GBTV, Glenn Beck spoke with KFYI's Mike Broomhead about the incident and what Governor Brewer told him on his radio show. Broomhead also shared news of how the Democrats in Arizona were twisting the account in an effort to solicit donations from their supporters.

An email soliciting donations was sent yesterday. However, the account of the meeting and especially the contents of the letter Brewer handed the President seems to vary significantly from reality:

Instead of welcoming the President at the airport with dignity and decency, she presented him with a demand letter that he accompany her in a visit to the border. And wagging her finger in the President's face, she lectured him on how she had saved Arizona.

Here is the segment with Glenn Beck and Mike Broomhead:

We now know the actual contents of the letter as Brewer has released it, and you can read it on The Blaze.

Even the President's view of the incident seems to differ from the Arizona Democrat's account. He told ABC News' Diane Sawyer;

“I think it’s always good publicity for a Republican if they’re in an argument with me,” Obama said of their most recent meeting. “But this was really not a big deal. She wanted to give me a letter, asking for a meeting. And I said, ‘We’d be happy to meet.’
