That story about how Mitt Romney strapped his dog in a kennel to the roof of his car on a family road trip won't go away. David Axelrod, adviser to President Barack Obama, has mocked Romney for it. On Sunday, Fox News' Chris Wallace told Romney, "I would no sooner put [my dog] in a kennel on the roof of my car than I would one of my children" (gag!). And of course, Saturday Night Live did a skit about it.
At noon today a group called "Dogs Against Romney" plans on protesting just outside the Westminster dog show at Madison Square Garden, according to ABC News.
The plan is " to ensure pet lovers are aware that Mitt Romney is mean to dogs," Dogs Against Romney said in a press release.
BLAZE readers: If you own a dog and love that dog, tell us if you care that Romney put his on the roof of his car while speeding down the highway. Let us know in the comments section below.
